Pytchley Hunt Guilsborough 2013 | Boyd Gilmour Photography
Saturday 23rd November The Pytchley Hounds met at Guilsborough House
At 11.00am huntsman Daniel Cherriman lead his hounds in the direction of Guilsborough reservoir
Closely followed by the field who could not resist the opportunity to jump this inviting hedge
First to go was Joint Master Rowan Cope
Closely followed by Senior Master Neil Holloway
The rest of the field followed led by Joint Master William Spencer
Lots of fun was had by all!!
The visiting side saddle ladies were not to be out done – that’s brave, there is not much to hang on to!!
Some decided to go through the gate this year.
The field disappeared and I caught up with them later in the day at Teeton were there was lots more jumping.
The pony club were out in force and enjoyed the jumping.
Easy on a good horse.
Charlie Main giving his son Henry a lead.
If I recall Henry led the way on this occasion.
Jane Boulton mixing it up with the others – you should have heard the language!!
Finally five year old Alice Mackaness who will no doubt one day will be riding at the Olympics, Burley or Master of the Pytchley Hunt, you have to start somewhere and this was Alice’s first jump out hunting.
There are lots more shots from this meet and if you were following and would like to see the rest of the photographs from the day please follow this link.
Thank you for reading my blog and do say hello when you see me out photographing the Pytchley Hunt.
